The S&L Africa SLSF IE3 is a high-performance, fabricated steel-frame electric motor engineered to deliver maximum durability and mechanical strength in the most demanding mining and industrial environments. This three-phase, totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) motor features an IE3 premium efficiency design that complies with MEPS VC9133, IEC 60034-1, and SANS testing standards to significantly reduce operating costs and electricity consumption. Built for extreme conditions, it incorporates a Class F insulation system restricted to a cooler Class B temperature rise, premium SKF brand bearings, and IP55 dust and water-resistant protection. Finished in a prominent premium mining yellow with a corrosion-resistant 2-pack epoxy paint finish, the SLSF IE3 offers a 20-year winding design life and a 5-year warranty, making it the ideal choice for direct-drive setups across high-vibration equipment such as pumps, fans, conveyors, and crushers.
